Getting Started

This section explains how to use Attune. It starts with how to prepare your analysis model for use with Attune and then walks through all the different forms that are part of Attune and the correlation process.

The typical flow of an Attune correlation is:

  1. Prepare analysis model for use with Attune.

  2. Create a configuration matching the analysis data with the test data. This step includes creating a mapping between test nodes and analysis nodes if they are not the same, creating the required SOL 200 solve if not already created, or utilizing a back-expansion matrix if desired.

  3. Set design limits on the design variables and potentially disable or change weighting on design variables that have low sensitivity.

  4. Disable or change weighting of state variables to meet correlation goals.

  5. Confirm initial mode matches and matching metrics.

  6. Run desired optimization algorithm to minimize state variable errors.

  7. Evaluate suggested changes and potentially use pushback form to reduce unnecessary design changes.

  8. Export current correlation status to XML.

  9. Export updated design variables values to bulk and resolve SOL 200 model.

  10. Repeat steps 3-9 until desired level or correlation is achieved.

  11. Export final bulk as SOL 103 with properties updated to their final values.
