When a model has many components and many load cases, summarizing the stress results for that model can get cumbersome and time consuming. This Femap API summarizes and envelopes stresses and failure indices in a Femap model by group and writes the results to excel. When the program is run, the user will be prompted to select output sets and vectors to summarize, groups to analyze, and groups of elements to exclude from the summary. The user can select the results to be output, whether or not to envelope, and a scaling method.
