ATA Engineering Relocates Southeastern Regional Operations to Accommodate Company Growth, Expand Engineering Services
New Huntsville office will enable ATA to expand regional presence, increase engineering workforce, and provide enhanced engineering services and support to regional customers
SAN DIEGO, Calif., June 30, 2022 – ATA Engineering (ATA), a nationwide provider of innovative, high-value test- and analysis-driven engineering design solutions, today announced the relocation of our Southeastern Regional Operations (SRO) to a new facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The new office will accommodate ATA’s sustained geographical expansion and continued companywide growth.
The new location provides ATA with over 10,040 square feet, including more office space and a lab facility—both of which will enable ATA to hire additional engineering staff and provide enhanced engineering services to customers across the southeastern United States.
ATA first opened the SRO office in 2010 to commit permanent engineering resources to the southeastern United States, achieving a long-term strategic goal in response to continued demand for engineering analysis and design services from our regional customers. With our new office, ATA can sustain our significant growth within the thriving regional aerospace and defense sectors by increasing our engineering workforce to provide enhanced, exceptional localized support.

ATA Vice President and Technical Fellow Dr. Eric Blades, who led ATA’s Huntsville operations since its founding, is now a member of ATA’s Board of Directors and is transitioning the direction of day-to-day operations of the SRO office to Mr. Robert Aungst.
