ATA Engineering Announces the Release of Attune v2.3.0
Enhancements include improved model visualization, reorganized configuration form, and more.
SAN DIEGO, Calif., May 17, 2018 – ATA is proud to announce the release of version 2.3.0 of Attune. Attune is a highly automated test-analysis correlation and model updating software tool used by engineers who want to tune their finite element models quickly. This release incorporates a number of new features and enhancements, which are discussed below.
Notable Upgrades:
Improved model visualization
Attune now has a new default option for all model visualization. Whether you are creating design variables or visualizing mode shapes, the inclusion of the Visualization Toolkit within Attune provides a fast and powerful way to visualize model data. It also allows much larger models to be visualized than was previously possible.
The Visualization Toolkit provides a powerful way to visualize model data.
Reorganized configuration form
The creation of the configuration is one of the key parts of Attune and also one of the most complicated because of the many options and paths available. Based on user feedback, the analysis data section has been reorganized to be clearer and easier to change between pre-optimization, optimization, and post-optimization datasets. To facilitate this, the configuration file format changed slightly and is not backwards compatible with previous versions.
The redesigned form simplifies creation of the configuration.
Many other useful enhancements
- Added mass variable toggle to switch between showing mass or weight
- Improved speed of genetic algorithm
- Added way to reload configuration without having to reselect the .cfg file
