ATA Chairman & President Dr. Mary Baker Elected to the National Academy of Engineering
SAN DIEGO, Calif., March 28, 2019 – Last month, Dr. Mary Baker, Chairman and President of ATA Engineering (ATA), was elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). As part of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, the NAE fills a crucial role in advising the federal government on matters related to technology and engineering and also working to promote and advance the engineering profession. Members are elected by their peers from among the most accomplished individuals in the field, making membership in the NAE a high honor.

Dr. Baker was elected to the NAE for her distinguished and continuing achievements in computer simulations for the development of advanced aerospace vehicles such as satellites and rockets. On October 6, 2019, the NAE will hold a ceremony in Washington, D.C., at which Dr. Baker and other elected honorees will be formally inducted. Read more at the NAE site.
