Key enhancements include tighter integration with Nastran and automated configuration updating
SAN DIEGO, Calif., May 27, 2009 — ATA Engineering, Inc. today announced the release of version 2.0 of Attune™, the latest in its Attune Toolbox software. Attune v2.0 offers major usability enhancements over previous releases, as well as advanced features and functions.
Attune is a highly automated test-analysis correlation and model updating software tool which combines more than 30 years of experience in this field into a user-friendly, flexible, MATLAB®-based toolkit. By automating the correlation process and providing a suite of leading-edge optimization tools, Attune provides the user with a powerful, efficient method of generating accurate test-verified finite element models.
Attune v2.0 includes a variety of key enhancements. Attune now provides shape visualization and node mapping, displaying finite element models and mode shapes for small to medium models. Additionally, much tighter integration with Nastran has been achieved, from reading bulk data to creating design variables to directly updating bulk data. A major innovation is the new configuration building form that allows the user to identify all of the files that make up a configuration. Once a configuration is defined, the user can reload it at any time, even after the associated files have been changed. The overall optimization performance of Attune has been improved, and the user has more options to control the objective function. The user will appreciate the overall ease of use and improved documentation.
Attune is directly compatible with NX Nastran, MSC.Nastran®, Abaqus®, I-deas® NX, B&K Test for I-deas® software, and universal data sets. Attune users with current software maintenance on their perpetual licenses, or with eight or more VibraSuite or ATA|Suite tokens can update their software for free.
