ATA Engineering Announces Membership in Certified EO
Partnership announced during Employee Ownership Month, in recognition of benefits provided to employees, companies, and communities
SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 14, 2021 – ATA Engineering, a nationwide provider of innovative, high-value, test- and analysis-driven engineering design solutions, is proud to announce our membership in Certified Employee-Owned (Certified EO), the leading certification program for employee-owned companies in America.

Founded in 2000, ATA Engineering has been a 100% employee stock ownership plan (ESOP)-owned company since 2004. Throughout that history, ATA Engineering has adhered to a team-based, project-focused management approach, emphasizing the success of the entire company and contributions of all employees regardless of tenure or position. Empowered by an employee ownership structure, ATA Engineering has played a key role in our customers’ successes and received awards for innovative design, test, and analysis solutions—all while creating a passionate workforce intrinsically motivated by the important work they do.
Certified EO members must pass a rigorous certification process to demonstrate that their employees own at least 30% of the business, access to ownership is open to every employee, and the concentration of ownership is limited. Fewer than 1 in 200 American companies are eligible to join Certified EO.
